Welcome students to Mr. Rodriguez Digital Media Class for 2022 - 2023. This is for any student who are in my Digita Media, Digital Info Tech, Advance IT or Advance IT Honors class. If you are in any of these classes, , you are in the correct spot.

Did you know that these courses have a certification associated with them? Each of those classes and an Industry Certification exam. For you, each exam is free. However, for those people out in the real world, these exams cost $150.00 each exam. However, for students who are registed with Broward County Schools, the exam is totally free.
What can you use this certification for?

Students who have industry certifications tend to:

• Get higher paying jobs
• Are interviewed over students without an industry certification
• Use the industry certification to put on their college or university applications.
• Use it to get more job interview when applying for jobs

Additionally, South Plantation, upon passing an industry certification, will provide you with:

• A medallion that you can wear to walk accross the stage for graduation.
• A certificate to place in your portfolio for your future use.
• You will be given a 100% for that quarter for passing your exam.
• You will be able to attend the industry certification pizza party that is held for students who have completed an industry cert.
